Compassionate Support for the End-of-Life Journey

As an End-of-Life Doula, I help make the transition through the end of life feel less overwhelming for the individual and their family.

There can be so many things to manage—appointments, conversations, planning, household responsibilities, meals, visitors, paperwork, personal wishes, and the emotional weight of everything happening at once.

My goal is to help carry some of that weight so that you and your family can spend more time focusing on what matters most: being together, creating meaningful moments, and simply loving one another.

What I Can Offer

🤍 Companionship & Presence

  • One-on-one companionship for the individual and family
  • Listening and supportive conversation
  • Sitting quietly together when words aren’t necessary
  • Reading, music, storytelling, or simply being present
  • Support during difficult or emotional moments
  • Helping the individual feel heard, respected, and less alone

🏡 In-Home Visits

I can visit you in your home to provide companionship, support, and help organizing the many details that can arise during the end-of-life journey.

🏥 Hospital, Hospice & Care-Facility Visits

When appropriate and permitted by the facility, I can visit an individual in a hospital, hospice, assisted living, or other care setting to provide companionship and emotional support.

I can also help family members understand what questions they may want to ask their medical or hospice team and help organize information and wishes to make communication easier.

📝 End-of-Life Planning & Organization

I can help you explore and organize your wishes so your family has a clearer understanding of what is important to you.

This may include:

  • Discussing personal wishes and priorities
  • Creating an end-of-life plan
  • Organizing important information and documents
  • Helping prepare questions for healthcare providers
  • Creating a list of important contacts
  • Discussing personal, spiritual, and emotional preferences
  • Helping families communicate about wishes and expectations
  • Assisting with practical planning and organization

🕯️ Legacy & Meaningful Moments

Your final chapter can be about more than medical care.

I can help you create meaningful experiences such as:

  • Recording stories and memories
  • Writing letters to loved ones
  • Creating memory projects
  • Organizing photographs
  • Planning meaningful visits
  • Creating personal rituals or moments of reflection
  • Helping families create opportunities for connection and closure

✨ Reiki & Spiritual Support

As a Reiki Master, I can offer Reiki sessions as a complementary spiritual and relaxation practice when requested and appropriate.

My spiritual support is non-denominational and centered around your beliefs, values, and wishes.

I will never impose my beliefs upon you. Your journey belongs to you.

📋 Care & Service Coordination

Sometimes what a family needs most isn’t another person providing hands-on care—it is someone who can help coordinate everything that needs to happen.

With your permission, I can help coordinate services such as:

I can help identify what is needed, communicate with service providers, schedule appointments or services, and help keep the details organized.

My role is to help connect the pieces.

🌿 Family Support

End-of-life care affects the entire family.

I can help family members navigate the practical and emotional challenges that arise by providing a calm, supportive presence and helping everyone stay organized.

Sometimes you don’t need someone to fix anything.

You simply need someone who will listen, stay present, and help you figure out what comes next.

What I Do Not Do

I believe in being very clear about the boundaries of my role.

I am not a doctor, nurse, therapist, psychologist, attorney, financial advisor, funeral director, or hospice provider.

I do not:

  • Diagnose medical or mental-health conditions
  • Provide medical treatment
  • Prescribe or administer medications
  • Change medication schedules or medical orders
  • Provide nursing care
  • Provide hands-on medical procedures
  • Replace hospice, home-health, or professional caregiving services
  • Provide psychotherapy or licensed mental-health counseling
  • Provide legal advice
  • Provide financial or estate-planning advice
  • Make funeral or disposition decisions on behalf of a family
  • Make medical decisions for an individual or family

When a need falls outside my scope of practice, I will help you find the appropriate professional or organization and, when possible, help coordinate that service.

You Don’t Have to Do It All Alone

There is a tremendous amount of responsibility that can fall on a family when someone is approaching the end of life.

My purpose is to help lighten that load.

Whether you need someone to sit beside your loved one, help organize a plan, coordinate a service, make a phone call, arrange a meal, find a resource, or simply listen—I am here to help.

The details matter, but they shouldn’t consume all of your time together.

Let me help with the details, so you can focus on what matters most:

Love. Presence. Connection.
